This laptop has enough savvy style to rival the ubiquitous mac – and it’s eco-friendly to boot! Asus just launched their Bamboo Series notebooks, featuring 2 convenient size options.

Not to be considered greenwashers, the company is dedicated to promoting sustainability, and this new model is prime evidence: it uses energy-efficient Super Hybrid Engine technology, that can extend battery life by 35-70% compared to similar notebooks lacking this technology.

Techies can tweak performance levels as their usage needs change, saving battery power or boosting performance. Alternatively, the system can intelligently monitor user activities, and automatically adjust power levels. According to ASUS, this alone can reduce yearly CO2 emissions by 12.3kg each notebook, and with 6 million notebooks being sold annually, that’s a stiletto-sized carbon footprint, not an UGG(ly) one!
